Job Description
Reporting to the Branch Manager, you'll focus on building strong customer relationships. Our customer base is diverse and includes local farmers, primary producers, and trade customers. Your priority will be to deliver a memorable experience for every customer - both in store and over the phone - while:
Performing general administrative tasks including stock control, ordering, receipting, and dispatching of goods
Assisting customers with pricing and product queries
Processing counter sales
Maintaining safety processes
Assisting with merchandise campaign material
Maintaining a welcoming, friendly, and well-presented store environment
Loading and unloading trucks, dispatching, and unpacking orders and deliveries
This role includes a rotating Saturday roster

We're currently offering an exciting chance for a Casual Merchandise team member to join our Nutrien Ingham team and help drive in-store sales across our agricultural merchandise range.
About the Candidate
To be successful in this role you will have previous experience in a team support role in a busy environment. You'll have a passion for Australian farming and agriculture, ideally with knowledge of animal health and rural merchandise. In addition, you will demonstrate:
Experience working within a sales environment
Effective verbal communications skills to build solid long-term customer relationships
A proactive approach to work and practical organisation skills
Excellent attention to detail
Problem solving skills and empathy to resolve customer issues promptly
Ability to identify ways to improve internal sales processes
Competent computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
Current driver's license and forklift license is essential.
