Role Description The Disability Support Worker role at In4care PTY LTD is a contract, in office position based in Forest Hill, NSW. In this role, you will provide direct support to people with disability in their daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, community access, and maintaining a safe, comfortable environment. You will assist clients to achieve their personal goals, encourage independence, and facilitate participation in social and recreational activities. The role includes documenting support provided, following individual care plans, and reporting any concerns or incidents in line with company policies and safeguarding requirements.



You will collaborate with other support workers, health professionals, and families to ensure consistent, high-quality support that respects each person's preferences and needs.
Qualifications
Experience as a Support Worker or in a similar direct care role, with a strong understanding of person-centered disability support.Well-developed Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities to build trust, listen effectively, and work collaboratively with clients and colleagues.Knowledge of Safeguarding principles, duty of care, and safe work practices, including maintaining client privacy, dignity, and wellbeing.Capability to provide basic Technical Support related to assistive technologies, communication devices, or home care equipment.Relevant qualification in disability support, community services, or aged care (or progress toward such qualifications) is highly regarded.Ability to follow care plans, maintain accurate records, and respond calmly to changing client needs or emergencies.Current working rights in Australia, valid driver's licence, and any required checks (e.g., NDIS Worker Screening, Working With Children Check) or willingness to obtain them.
