Job Description:
McNaughts Transport is gearing up for this year's grain harvest and is looking for reliable, hardworking Harvest Casuals to join our team. This is a great chance to be part of a respected, family-owned business during one of the busiest and most exciting times of the year.
Harvest work is seasonal and dependent on weather and site conditions, so we're looking for people with a positive attitude who can commit to seeing the season through.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor grain from truck to equipment and into storage
General cleaning and safe upkeep of the workspace
Operate tractors, augers, hoppers, and other site machinery
Assist with weighbridge operations and grain sampling where required
Work closely with the site team to keep operations running smoothly and safely
Requirements (Essential):
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Able to pass drug and alcohol tests
Strong communication skills
Physically fit and able to work long hours in hot, dusty conditions
Committed to the season and flexible around changing work requirements
Dedicated to keeping yourself and your team-mates safe
Desirable (but not essential):
Forklift licence
Heavy rigid truck licence
Front-end loader licence
Confined Space Certificate
Previous grain harvest experience
