NOW Energy is recruiting on behalf of a well-established commercial builder with a strong pipeline of refurbishment and fit-out projects across
retail, education, hospitality, service stations and commercial sectors
.
We're looking for an
Estimator
with
2–5 years' experience
working for a
Principal Contractor
.
This is a MUST-HAVE requirement.
We're
not
looking for someone who has only priced one trade or specialist package. You must have experience estimating
entire refurbishment and fit-out projects
from tender through to submission, coordinating all scopes of work.
You'll be responsible for:
Preparing hard dollar tenders for commercial refurbishment and fit-out projects
Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation
Completing quantity take-offs and pricing all project scopes
Obtaining and evaluating subcontractor and supplier quotations
Assisting with procurement and project handover
Working closely with the Pre-Construction and Delivery teams




To be considered you'll need:
2–5 years' estimating experience with a
Principal Contractor
Experience pricing
complete commercial refurbishment and fit-out projects
Excellent commercial and analytical skills
Experience with Cubit (or similar estimating software) is advantageous
