At our production facility in Canning Vale, we offer our customers a wide range of motor bodies and accessories. Focusing on customer satisfaction, we pride ourselves on providing industry-specific solutions and complete custom vehicle fit-outs.
Position
Unicorn Transport Equipment is currently seeking experienced Heavy-Duty Steel Body Builders to join our team, building the growing range of heavy-duty bodies we have on offer.
Work experience should include but not limited to:
Basic transport bodies with cargo gates, safety rails, ladders, lashing rings, three-point access, and storage solutions.
Tipper bodies.
To be successful for the role you must have:
A bodybuilding trade qualification, or considerable experience in heavy-duty bodybuilding.




Skills in all facets of steel fabrication and a high level of competency in MIG welding a wide range of steel thicknesses and grades.
Experience in working with hardox.
Proficiency in the use of steel fabrication tools and equipment
Ability to interpret technical drawings.
Willingness to assist in design change and continual product improvement.
Preferred Fork-lift license (current).
Unrestricted working rights in Australia.
Fluency in written and spoken English.
Ability to work independently or as part of a Team.
