About the role:
As a
Parts Interpreter
, you will be the essential link between the workshop, the counter, and the customer, keeping vehicles moving and people satisfied every day.
Your day-to-day will include:
Identifying and supplying the correct parts for a wide range of vehicles, building real depth of product knowledge over time
Assisting trade and retail customers at the counter and over the phone, so no two interactions are quite the same
Working closely with the service and workshop teams to ensure technicians have what they need without delay
Raising orders, receipting stock, and maintaining accurate inventory so the department runs smoothly
Processing warranty parts and returns in line with manufacturer requirements, giving you exposure to a structured and detail-oriented side of the business
About you:
You bring a practical understanding of automotive parts and a genuine interest in helping people find the right solution.
More about you:
Previous experience in a parts interpreter or similar role within the automotive industry
Confidence using electronic parts catalogues and dealer management systems
A methodical approach to stock management and attention to detail that others can rely on




Strong communication skills that work just as well with a busy technician as with a first-time retail customer
A team-oriented mindset, with the ability to manage priorities when the workshop is in full swing
