Join our dynamic team as a full-time Chef at Jo's Curry House, a renowned restaurant located in Bunbury W.A . We are seeking an experienced professional with a proven track record in the hospitality industry to contribute to our exciting culinary environment.
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of two years' experience as a chef in a fast-paced setting
- Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
- Demonstrated ability to consistently deliver high-quality food
- Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to foster relationships within a team-based environment
- Proficiency in planning menus to accommodate diverse cultural and dietary requirements
- Availability for full-time work (38 hours per week)
Responsibilities:
- Plan and prepare nutritious meals and food items
- Cater to customers with special dietary requirements and allergies
- Collaborate with the director to order food supplies
- Ensure safe and hygienic storage, handling, and preparation of food
- Maintain adherence to cooking methods, portions, and recipes
- Uphold a clean and well-presented kitchen, compliant with food safety standards
- Contribute to a safe and friendly work environment as an integral part of the team
