Play Leader (Holiday Club) Would you like to earn during the school holidays whilst working in a fun and exciting environment?
The Job
To provide a caring, secure environment, through individual attention and group activities and to organise an appropriate range of activities for children from the age of 3-12 years
To provide secure, creative and appropriate play opportunities including preparing activities, organization programmes and arranging equipment
To supervise Play Workers, and support other team members
To be aware of and act in accordance with current legislation, good practice and club policies and procedures
To promote the high standards of the club at all times to parents, staff and visitors
To report back to the Managers/Directors as required with information relating to staff, children, activities and quality of the provision
The Commitment
This role is available for Mondays-Fridays of the school holidays only, excluding bank holidays. Hours are from 8am-6pm per day, flexible working hours may be available.
Salary And Benefits
GBP12-GBP***** per hour depending on experience. Free childcare for your own children aged 3-12 years.
We Are Looking For
Someone who loves to see children of all ages enjoying different activities and having fun. Youll be friendly and approachable, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.



You will be able to work closely with the Manager/Directors to ensure that the club organization and administration is of the highest quality.
Level 3 qualification or above in Childcare (Essential)
Experience working with children in a fast paced environment (Essential)
Knowledge of safeguarding (Essential)
Experience of working in an Early Years setting (Essential)
Paediatric First Aid training (Preferred)
Play Leader experience within childcare (Preferred)
We are committed to safeguarding; all staff will be required to have a DBS check and references before starting. Specific Fun Fest Holiday Club training will be provided to successful candidates.
About Fun Fest Holiday Club
Funfest Holiday Club is different because it offers children a choice about how they spend their holiday. There are over 50 activities to choose from and each activity runs differently every time.
