Processing/Maintenance Operator
Boundary Bend Olives is Australian's premiere extra virgin olive oil company. We are seeking people to fill roles within our operation division at our groves in northern Victoria.
Duties will include:
Preparing and positioning harvester for operation
Calibrating and monitoring harvester performance, including adjusting speed, height and depth of implements as well as distribution or collection rates as needed
Tractor driving, including slashing, fungicide spraying, herbiciding, cultivation and machine pruning;
ATV Motorbike/Mule operations, including weed spraying and towing trailers;
Assist with the annual olive harvest and supervise casual harvest staff;
Maintain plant and equipment in a way that will minimise time lost due to breakdown;
In consultation with management, coordinate the installation and commissioning of all current plant and equipment;
Assist the Processing Manager in the stock-take and ordering of fuels, lubricants and parts as required;
Assist in maintaining accurate records of all machinery service history.
Salary will be commensurate with skills and experience (minimum 2 years)
