About the Role
Support the Property and Leasing Team through acting as a first point of contact for all property enquires, efficient lease administration, accurate record keeping and responsive stakeholder support. This role helps ensure Council's property portfolio is managed effectively, consistently and in line with relevant policies and statutory requirements.
Reporting to the Co-ordinator Property Operations, the core responsibilities include:
Providing timely and professional service to Council tenants, community groups and internal and external stakeholders.
Managing and actioning enquiries and requests as required
Assist in preparing, maintaining and monitoring lease and licence documentation, including renewals, variations, options, insurance, rental payments, inspections, tenant issues and reporting.
Maintaining accurate property records and compliance registers to support strong data integrity and operational efficiency.
Supporting day-to-day property management matters, including encroachments, road discontinuances, leases, licences and compliance activities.
Undertaking administrative tasks associated with the delivery of property management, including but not limited to; reporting, providing advice, problem solving and ensuring accurate records are kept.
Working collaboratively across the Property and Leasing Team to improve processes, share knowledge and support service delivery outcomes.
About You
Demonstrated administrative experience in local government or a property-related environment; knowledge of lease and licence processes is desirable.
Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, with a commitment to responsive and professional customer service.
Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
High attention to detail and confidence using Microsoft Office, document management systems and property management systems such as TechOne.
A cooperative, accountable and adaptable approach, with the ability to take ownership of tasks and contribute positively to team outcomes.
