Tyre Fitters – Bowen Basin | Ongoing Opportunities
Downunder Group Solutions (DGS) is seeking experienced OTR Mining Tyre Fitters for multiple open-cut mining operations throughout the Bowen Basin.

The Role:
Working on heavy mobile mining equipment, you'll be responsible for:
Removing, fitting and repairing large earthmoving tyres and rims
Conducting tyre inspections, pressure checks and preventative maintenance
Operating safely within site procedures and company safety standards
Working closely with maintenance teams to maximise equipment availability
Completing required maintenance documentation and inspections
About You:
To be successful, you will have:
Certificate II in Automotive Tyre Servicing Technology (AUR*****)
Minimum 2 years' experience fitting earthmoving tyres in a mining environment
Current Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical, or the ability to obtain
BMA Core (highly regarded)
Experience operating tyre handlers and/or forklifts (highly regarded)
Strong commitment to safety, teamwork and quality workmanship
Please note: This position is suited to experienced mining OTR Tyre Fitters only. Applicants with passenger or truck tyre fitting experience only will not be considered.
