This role is offered on a full-time basis with earning potential of $120,000>$140,000 + super on all hours worked and allowances when on-site. Predominantly based in the Fremantle workshop with occasional project site work (DIDO Regional WA). Best suited to individuals who enjoy variety in their work. Career progression available.

Main Function of Position
Carry out carpentry, fabrication and formwork activities to construct and install commercial transportable buildings in accordance with project drawings, specifications and quality standards. Undertake general workshop duties, including plant and equipment maintenance, basic metal fabrication, building maintenance and other tasks as required to support workshop and project operations.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
· Reading and interpreting plans to determine specifications for materials and positioning of components
· Construct and build transportable units including fit-out
· Formwork carpentry
· Steel carpentry
· Installation of transportable units to various sites
Essential Qualifications/Licences
· Trade certification in Carpentry
· C Class Drivers Licence
· White Card
· TLILIC**** – Forklift Truck Operations
Desirable Qualifications/Licences




· CPCCLRG****A – Licence to perform rigging – Basic
· TLILIC**** Licence to operate a vehicle loading crane
· TLILIC**** – Licence to Operate Boom-Type Elevating Work Platform
· MR/HR/HC Class Drivers Licence
Competencies, Skills and Experience
· Trade qualified Carpenter with a minimum of five (5) years' post-trade experience.
· Experience in commercial carpentry, transportable buildings, formwork, concrete construction and civil works.
· Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, engineering plans and specifications.
· Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks and consistently meet project deadlines.
· Strong understanding of HSEQ requirements and commitment to safe work practices.
· Effective communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
· Robust problem-solving skills, attention to detail and a proactive approach to work.
· Flexible, reliable and adaptable to changing project requirements.
