Ngaanyatjarra Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara (NPY) Council was founded by, and continues to be led, governed and directed by, women from the NPY region of Central Australia. Established to provide a strong voice for women across the 26 remote desert communities spanning Western Australia, South Australia and the Northern Territory, NPY Council remains committed to delivering progressive, innovative and evidence-based services, advocacy and support.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are currently seeking an experienced
Executive Assistant
to provide high-level administrative, organisational and governance support to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Deputy Chief Executive Officer (DCEO), and NPYWC's 12 elected Directors.
The Executive Assistant will act as the first point of contact for matters relating to the Directorate Team and will provide confidential, professional and proactive administrative support to the executive leadership team and broader NPYWC management team.
This role requires exceptional organisational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining a high level of professionalism and discretion.
ABOUT YOU
The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience working as an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant, or in a similar senior administrative support role.
You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong relationship-building capabilities, and the ability to work collaboratively across all levels of an organisation.
You will be adaptable, solutions-focused and comfortable working in a dynamic environment where priorities may change. A genuine commitment to the values, principles and purpose of an Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation is essential.
