We're seeking a reliable and enthusiastic
Cafe All-Rounder
to join our team on a
part-time permanent basis or casual
. This position offers steady hours (20 to 40 per week) and the chance to be part of a friendly, fast-paced café environment. You'll work across customer service, coffee-making, food prep, and general cleaning—ideal for someone who's flexible, proactive, and passionate about hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and serve customers with a warm, professional attitude
Take dine-in and takeaway orders efficiently
Make quality coffee and beverages (barista experience preferred)
Assist with preparing and plating simple food items (e.g., sandwiches, pastries, salads)
Operate the POS system and handle payments
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across the café, including clearing tables, dishwashing, and restocking
Follow all food safety and OH&S; procedures




Assist with opening/closing duties when required
Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth daily operations
Requirements:
Previous experience in a café or hospitality role (preferred but not essential)
Barista skills (or willingness to learn on the job)
Strong communication and customer service skills
Positive attitude, reliability, and team spirit
Able to multitask and work calmly under pressure
Flexible availability, especially on weekends and peak periods
Commitment to a consistent part-time schedule (20 to 40 hours/week)
