to join our growing team on a
full time (1.0EFT) ongoing basis.
We are seeking an experienced and passionate
Coordinator of Psychological Therapies
to lead the development, delivery, and continuous improvement of evidence-based psychological therapy programs across our Mental Health Services. This leadership role will coordinate group therapy programs across inpatient, sub-acute, and community settings, while building workforce capability through training, supervision, and mentoring. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams and lived experience workers, you will help strengthen recovery-oriented, trauma-informed care and improve outcomes for consumers across the lifespan.

The role of the
Coordinator of Psychological Therapies
is to:
Lead the planning, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of evidence-based psychological therapy programs across inpatient, sub-acute, and community mental health services.
Provide clinical leadership in the implementation and co-facilitation of specialised group programs, including therapies such as DBT, MBT, GPM, and other evidence-based interventions.
Develop workforce capability through the provision of clinical supervision, training, mentoring, and support for psychologists, clinicians, and students.
Maintain a specialist clinical caseload, providing psychological assessment, formulation, intervention, and expert consultation for complex mental health presentations.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, lived experience workers, and external stakeholders to integrate psychological therapies into consumer care pathways and support service continuity.
Lead quality improvement, service evaluation, governance,



and innovation activities that enhance psychological therapy services and align with strategic mental health priorities.
About you
Ideal candidates for this role will have:
Clinical Psychologist with AHPRA registration, Clinical Psychology endorsement, and Board-approved Supervisor status.
Extensive experience working with consumers experiencing severe and complex mental health conditions across community and/or inpatient settings.
Demonstrated expertise in delivering, coordinating, and evaluating evidence-based psychological therapies and therapeutic group programs.
Strong leadership, supervision, coaching, and workforce development skills, with the ability to build capability across multidisciplinary teams.
Highly developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with a collaborative and recovery-oriented approach to care.
Passionate about service innovation, continuous improvement, and expanding access to high-quality psychological therapies across mental health services.
