As we continue expanding our services across South Australia, we are seeking an experienced and compassionate Support Worker to join our growing team. About the Role We are currently seeking a dedicated Support Worker to provide ongoing personal care services to an older gentleman living in Bellevue Heights SA ****.
This is a permanent ongoing roster with consistent weekly hours, making it ideal for someone seeking regular work while having flexibility around the exact start times. Roster Monday to Friday
Morning Shift: 1 hour (between 8:00am – 10:00am) Afternoon Shift: 1 hour (between 3:00pm – 5:00pm) Saturday
1-hour visit (between 8:00am – 10:00am) Sunday 1-hour visit (between 8:00am – 10:00am)
Total: 12 hours per week Additional hours may become available as our Adelaide client base continues to grow. Your Responsibilities
You will provide high-quality, person-centred support including: Personal care and showering
Continence care and toileting assistance
Grooming and personal hygiene
Meal preparation
Assistance with dressing




Medication prompting (where appropriate)Mobility assistance and falls prevention
Monitoring the client's wellbeing and reporting any concerns
Maintaining accurate progress notes using our electronic care management system
Building a respectful and professional relationship with the client and their family
Working in accordance with the Aged Care Quality Standards, infection prevention and workplace health and safety requirements
About You
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
A genuine passion for supporting older AustraliansPrevious experience providing personal care in the aged care, home care or disability sector
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Reliability, professionalism and a caring attitude
The ability to work independently and follow individual care plans
Solid time management and organisational skills
Respect for client privacy, dignity and choice
Essential Requirements
Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing, Home & Community or equivalent) or relevant experience
Current National Police CheckCurrent First Aid & CPR CertificateCurrent Driver LicenceRight to work in AustraliaAbility to complete electronic progress notes
Desirable
Experience in community aged care
Manual handling experience
Medication competency
Continence care experience
Dementia care experience
Greek speaking
