Disability Services Care Coordinator – Galiwinku, NT

East Arnhem Regional Council is seeking an experienced and passionate Disability Services Care Coordinator – Galiwinku, to deliver culturally safe, person centred support to care recipients and people living with disability across our remote communities.

What you'll do:
Coordinate the day-to-day operations of the local Disability Services team to ensure effective and efficient management of staff and resources.
Manage and facilitate high-quality disability support to participants focussing on client goals and preferences as per individual schedule of supports, adhering to NDIS legislation and requirements.
Assist in providing specialist services in creating, managing, and maintaining individual budgets and schedules for participants in accordance NDIS requirements.
Prepare audit requirements and assist in the implementation and recording of continuous quality improvement.
Coordinate and actively support in the preparation and timely submission of all required reports including mandatory reports for funding agreements utilising industry portals such as PRODA, e-Tools and other systems.
Support both procurement and administration activities, including sourcing quotes, ordering goods, monitoring deliveries, managing payments, payroll, timesheet processes, and project-based support.
Assist in the development and currency of compliance activities, policies and procedures and handbooks.
Provide support with data entry and maintenance,
including enrolments and participant records, and ensuring accuracy, currency and compliance.
Actively participate in all offered training and development opportunities.
Promote a secure working environment that protects the welfare of self, colleagues and clients and participants adhering to WHS, risk management, incident/SIRS, complaints and continuous improvement principles.
Other duties as reasonably directed by the Regional Manager – Disability Services.
What we're looking for:
Must have, or be able to obtain and maintain, a current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
Must hold a minimum Cert III in Individual Support (Ageing and/or Disability) and current First Aid and CPR qualifications.
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of NDIS legislation, standards, program guidelines, and scope of practice.
Advanced oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Proven skills in collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders.
Proven effective time management with the ability to work autonomously.
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook) and an ability to learn recent software.
Must hold a current C Class Drivers Licence.

$ 96,****** - $102,****** per year, excluding super),
with annual reviews under the Enterprise Agreement
