Based at our
Dandenong branch,
the Transport Coordinator is responsible for arranging the safest, most cost-effective and efficient transport of equipment for the Coates Business. This can be for interstate, intrastate or customer requirements.
Source transport services for delivery and pickup of equipment for Coates branches.
Schedule daily deliveries in Coates' transport management software using both Coates' drivers and contractor drivers
Liaise with Fleet and Operations departments to ensure timely delivery and pickup of equipment.
Ensure Purchase orders are raised and completed within the given month.
Analyse activity and suggest improvement opportunities.
Ensuring the safety of your team and Coates' customers.

What you'll bring to the role
Effective time management and attention to detail
Troubleshooting, diagnostic and preventative maintenance skills
Previous experience in processing and payment of invoicesStrong Excel skills and an analytical mindset
Transport Scheduling software experience (TMS) highly regarded
