Our state-of-the-art laboratories are strategically placed to help provide a wide range of inspection and laboratory testing services across a broad range of commodities.
Key Responsibilities
Weighing, preparing and processing samples
Process samples through various methods
Basic maintenance, troubleshooting and calibration laboratory instruments
Maintain good laboratory housekeeping
Undertake tasks as requested by the laboratory supervisor/manager
Perform Safety walks, inspections, audits and other tasks related to safety
Follow and adhere to laboratory SOP's and safety practices
Meet quality, TATs and KPI's required for the role
About You
Previous experience working in a Geoanalytical or Minerals Laboratory
Experience of inorganic chemistry laboratory techniques
At least 1 years experience as a Laboratory Technician or equivalent
Experience with ICP-MS and/or ICP-OES equipment is highly regarded
An understanding of the basic QA/QC procedures in a Laboratory
Good verbal and numerical reasoning skills
A methodical,



well organised approach to your work
Be willing to work as part of a team in a production environment, with a high focus on quality & safety
Roster
Weekly rotational shift roster
Day shift – 6.00am-2.00pm
Afternoon shift – 2.00pm-*****pm
**Full availability across all shifts is required
**Roster may change to 9 hours shifts in future to meet business requirements
