We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Violin Teacher to join our team on a casual basis. You'll deliver engaging one-on-one lessons to students of all ages and skill levels, from beginners taking their first steps to advanced students preparing for exams, eisteddfods or performances.
Key Responsibilities
· Deliver individual violin lessons to students ranging from young beginners through to advanced/adult learners.
· Plan and adapt lesson content to suit each student's age, ability and goals.
· Track and report on student progress, including preparation for exams (e.g. AMEB) and performance opportunities where relevant.
· Maintain a positive, encouraging and professional studio environment.
· Communicate regularly with parents/carers and studio staff regarding student progress.
· Participate in studio recitals, concerts and school events as required.




· Keep accurate lesson and attendance records in line with Forte's systems.
What We're Looking For
· Proven experience teaching violin, ideally across a range of ages and abilities (beginner to advanced).
· Relevant qualifications in music/violin performance or teaching (tertiary qualification preferred but not essential with strong experience).
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine passion for teaching.
· Patient, positive and adaptable teaching style suited to both children and adults.
· Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) — or willingness to obtain one.
· Reliable, professional and well-presented, with strong time-management skills.
