The coach is responsible for planning and delivering high-quality training sessions, developing game plans, and leading the senior football team on match days. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing player performance, providing individual and team feedback, overseeing fitness and skills programs, and coordinating with assistant coaches and support staff. The role involves mentoring players, fostering a positive and disciplined team culture, and working closely with club leadership on recruitment, selection, and long-term player development.



The Senior Football Coach is also expected to engage with the broader club community, attend club events, and represent BFNC in league and community activities.QualificationsStrong football-specific expertise, including Football Coaching and Football knowledge at a senior or elite community level.Demonstrated Coaching experience, including planning sessions, managing game-day strategy, and leading diverse teams.Effective Communication skills, with the ability to provide clear instructions, constructive feedback, and motivational leadership.Experience in Training design and delivery, including skills development, conditioning programs, and performance review.Relevant coaching accreditations (e.g., AFL coaching certificates or equivalent) and a strong understanding of modern game tactics.Proven ability to build a positive team culture, promote athlete wellbeing, and work collaboratively with club staff and volunteers.Job and relocation opportunities with flexibility working arrangements for the right applicant.Current Working With Children Check and adherence to all league and club integrity, safety, and inclusion standards.
