About the Role
As a NDIS Support Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting participants to understand, implement, and maximise their NDIS plans. You will work collaboratively with participants, families, and service providers to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and implement NDIS plans and budgets, ensuring timely access to supports and services
Work closely with participants and their families/guardians to understand individual needs and goals
Advocate on behalf of participants and support informed decision‐making
Manage and resolve complex situations with a proactive,
solution‐focused approach
Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including service providers and community partners
Communicate effectively across all levels, including negotiation and conflict resolution
Prepare high‐quality reports and documentation in a timely manner
Adapt communication styles to meet individual participant needs
Promote choice and control, empowering participants in their care
Ensure compliance with NDIS legislation, policies, and best practice standards
About You
We are looking for someone who is driven to make a difference and thrives in a dynamic, client‐focused environment.
You will bring:
Minimum 1 year full‐time (or equivalent) experience in a Support Coordination role. Candidates with NDIS, LAC, or service coordination experience are also encouraged to apply
Strong problem‐solving skills with the ability to manage complex cases
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
A flexible, adaptable approach to working with diverse individuals
Strong organisational and time‐management skills
A proactive, solution‐focused mindset
High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and respect
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Relevant qualification in Disability, Social Work, or Allied Health (desirable, not essential)
