The primary role of a
TAFE SA Lecturer
is to provide a quality educational service of training, assessment, and guidance to students in accordance with relevant training package objectives. Lecturers may also be involved in the provision of consultancy services to industry/community clients.
Got What It Takes?
Proven and relevant industry experience and up to date knowledge and understanding of the Surveying and Spatial Information.
Experience may include engineering, cadastral, construction and infrastructure surveying; underground service location; GIS, GNSS, spatial data management, laser scanning, digital levelling, survey processing, set-out, monitoring and mapping.
Applicants should demonstrate an ability to translate industry practice into vocational education and training outcomes.
Understanding of Surveying and Spatial Information Training Packages and their application and able to lead quality process and continuous improvement activities.
What You Need to Know
A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) issued by the South Australian Department of Human Services is required before employment.
