Located in Australind, in the beautiful South West region of Western Australia, Camilles Cafe is a thriving café committed to delivering fresh, high-standard food, bakery lines, specialty coffee and outstanding customer service. We're currently recruiting for full time Head Chef, Cook and Baker positions.

Salary:
$75,000 to $90,000 plus superannuation depending on experience
Key Responsibilities
Lead and oversee the daily operations of the kitchen.
Prepare and present high-quality café meals to a consistent standard.
Develop seasonal menu items and improve existing dishes.
Supervise, train and support the kitchen team.
Manage stock, ordering, food costs and minimise wastage.
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and HACCP requirements.
Maintain a clean, organised and secure kitchen environment.
Work closely with management to achieve operational and business goals.
What We're Looking For
Minimum
3 years' post-qualification experience
as a qualified Chef in a commercial kitchen.
Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
(or equivalent trade qualification).
Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory kitchen role.
Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
Thorough knowledge of food safety legislation, hygiene standards and HACCP systems.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and lead by example.
Passion for producing high-quality food and driving kitchen standards.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with menu development and daily food preparation.
Monitor stock levels and minimise food wastage.
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and HACCP requirements.
Maintain a clean, organised and safe kitchen environment.
Work efficiently with the kitchen and front-of-house team during busy service periods.
What We're Looking For
Minimum
2 years' experience
as a Cook in a commercial kitchen.
Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
(or equivalent qualification); relevant industry experience will also be considered.
Sound knowledge of food safety, hygiene and HACCP principles.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced environment.
Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.
