Role:

Location: Margate (to be confirmed).
Employment Basis:
Fixed-Term, Part-Time, 0.9 FTE (up to May ****)
Salary Range:
Band 6: $101,*******,943 (0.9 FTE) + superannuation.
About the role
Parliament of Tasmania offers a supportive setting to enable our employees to do the best work of their career. We're looking to secure a fixed-term, part-time Research Officer for the Legislative Council Member for Huon.
As a trusted colleague, you'll have professional flexibility to perform the role whilst being empowered to build a sense of community at work. The Research Officer will work closely with the Hon Clare Glade-Wright MLC by providing professional advice and services. Confidentiality is paramount and strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
About Us
The Parliament of Tasmania is a meeting place where elected representatives meet to make laws, authorise the expenditure of public funds, scrutinise the government of the day, and give a voice to their constituents in the electorates. The Parliament is made up of three (3) separate Departments consisting of House of Assembly, Legislative Council, and Legislature - General.
Location
We foster a collaborative and engaging workplace. As such, this role is required to be performed in person and at the Huon Electorate Office. It may involve work at additional locations depending on operational requirements.
