About the role
We are currently seeking applications for a Gardening & Home Maintenance Support Worker. In this role, you will provide gardening and home maintenance services to older people and NDIS participants, supporting them to live independently in their own homes while servicing customers across the local area.




Previous experience in gardening and/or home maintenance
Demonstrated previous experience in use of powered gardening equipment, such as self-propelled mowers, brush cutters, edgers, hedge trimmers etc
Fantastic customer service skills
Providing support and guidance to volunteers of varying skills and abilities
A team player
Good communication skills (written, interpersonal and verbal)
Basic computer and paperwork skills
A safety-first approach to ensure safety and wellbeing of yourself, clients, and the team
Willing and able to keep up with the demands of the physical demands of a gardening role
Prerequisites
A NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to apply)
Current Drivers Licence with no restrictions
Rights to work in Australia
Current First Aid Certificate with 12 months or less currency (or willing to apply)
