WesTrac Tamworth is seeking experienced
Field Service Plant Mechanics, Heavy Diesel Mechanics, and Auto Electricians
to join our skilled service team. Reporting to the Field Service Supervisor, you'll diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of CAT machinery, delivering high-quality workmanship while minimising equipment downtime. This field-based role offers exposure to diverse equipment and the opportunity to build a rewarding career with a leading Caterpillar dealer.

Rotating day and night shifts - 12.5-Hours
Shift Times: Day Shift 06:00AM to 18:30PM / Night Shift 18:00PM to 06:30AM
Potential earnings over $200k + Super
Field Service Ute + Accommodation

Skills & Experience
Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent
Certificate III in Automotive Technology or equivalent
Australian Recognised Certificate of Proficiency (COP) & Transcripts(Mandatory)
Familiar with Caterpillar Equipment
OEM Experience (highly desirable)
Exposure to SIS or ET (highly desirable)
Excellent diagnostic and repair skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work autonomously in the field and in a team




Current driver's licence
