At DanCar Automotives, our workshop utilises state of the art tools and equipment. We are committed to build a workshop to meet our customers' satisfaction and trust.
We are currently seeking an experienced Motor Mechanic (General) to join our team.
Applicants must have a relevant trade qualification and at least 2 years' post-qualification experience as a Mechanic.
Duties will include:
Perform scheduled vehicle servicing in accordance with manufacturer specifications
Drain and replace engine oil and install new oil filters
Conduct comprehensive vehicle safety and condition inspections
Inspect and test vehicle lighting systems
Check windscreen wiper operation and replace/report worn wiper blades as required
Inspect brake systems, including brake fluid, pads,



rotors and handbrake operation
Pressure test cooling systems and assess coolant condition
Identify and report engine bay oil leaks
Inspect steering, suspension and bush components for wear or damage
Check driveline oil condition
Inspect and assess drive belts for wear and correct operation
Inspect tyres for tread depth, condition and correct tyre pressures
Test battery condition, charging system and starting system performance
Reset vehicle service reminders following completed servicing
Identify faults and recommend any additional repairs or maintenance required to ensure vehicle safety and reliability
A salary of $78,000 - $80,000 will be offered to the successful candidate.
