About the role
We are seeking an experienced MR Truck Driver/Yard Person to join our team at Fastplast Building Supplies in Port Macquarie, NSW. This role will be responsible for the secure and efficient delivery of building materials to our customers, as well as assisting with general yard duties. As a key member of our logistics team, you will play a vital role in supporting the operations of our growing building supplies business.
What you'll be doing
Safely operate MR class vehicles to deliver building materials to customer sites
Hand delivery of plasterboard to projects in the area - Note: our company pays an extra/over and above wage, plasterboard delivery bonus
Assist with loading and unloading of trucks, including the use of forklifts
Maintain accurate records of deliveries and stock movements
Contribute to the overall organisation and upkeep of the yard and warehouse areas
Provide excellent customer service
Comply with all relevant workplace health and safety regulations
What we're looking for
A current MR truck licence and good driving record essential
Forklift licence and experience in operating forklifts preferable




Strong customer service skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team
Must be physically fit with the ability to repeatedly carry heavy loads
Good written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrable commitment to workplace safety
