About the business and the role
Anmel Cherry Picker Hire supplies truck mounted cherry pickers to a number of different industries across South East Queensland. We have trucks in varying sizes from 18mts to 40mts, as well as a specialized track mounted machine. We work with government departments, councils, small and large companies and others.
The successful applicant will be responsible for driving and operating the machine in a way that achieves the clients objective while maintaining professionalism and safety.
Job tasks and responsibilities
The duties of the position include but are not limited to:
Driving and operating truck mounted cherry pickers:
- operate machines from 18mts to 40mts
- assist clients while operating in the basket
- provide technical advice in relation to the machines
- ensure safety of persons, machines and property
Customer service duties:
- conduct site inspections
- positively represent the company to customers
Clerical duties including:
- Invoicing
- Formulating SWMS
- Inductions
- Equipment maintenance records
Workshop duties:
- Cleaning of workshop areas and trucks
-Maintenance and repairs of trucks and equipment under guidance
-Minor servicing of trucks and towers
Skills and experience
Required
for this position: -
- High Risk Work Licence (EWP)
- MR truck licence as a minimum, a HR truck licence is preferred
- General construction Induction (blue/white card)
Advantage if you have the following:
- Chainsaw licence
- Safe working at heights certificate
- Arbor experience
