About The Role
As our next Workshop Supervisor, reporting to the Workshop Manager you will work collaboratively towards delivering high-quality solutions and results. You will be responsible for the supervision and co-ordination of crews executing all work conducted in our facility.
Ensure compliance and effectiveness of Safety Management Systems
Lead, coach and develop team members by setting clear expectations, monitoring performance and mentoring others
Manage and execute maintenance work using efficient work strategies to achieve targeted repair times
Ensure that work is completed within allowed budget and resources
Assist the Workshop Manager in implementing safety and environmental plans
Play an active role in all incident investigations
Develop and strengthen key internal and external stakeholder relationships
Actively and positively contribute to fostering a excellent work culture and environment
Roster: ****** hour 4 week Day Shift / 2 week Night Shift.
About You
As the successful applicant,
you will be a high achieving & team focused individual with a focus on collaboration and achieving within your work team. You have previous experience in Workshop environments with a drive to deliver and exceed expectations.
Mechanical trade certificate or tertiary qualification in mechanical engineering
Extensive knowledge of Caterpillar equipment
Previous supervisory experience in maintenance
Passionate about creating and implementing improvement process
A strong commitment to health, safety, environment and the community
