Our client is a large NSW Government agency seeking an experienced Sourcing Manager to lead strategic procurement and contract management activities across a complex portfolio. About the role
Lead end-to-end sourcing and procurement activities in line with NSW Government frameworks and policies.
Manage procurement planning, market analysis and risk assessments to support sourcing decisions.
Lead tender processes, supplier engagement and contract negotiations to achieve value-for-money outcomes.
Oversee contract management activities including supplier performance, compliance, variations and issue resolution.
Provide expert procurement advice and governance support to stakeholders across multiple business units.
Analyse market and procurement data to identify opportunities, manage risks and improve procurement outcomes.
Maintain procurement documentation and audit trails to ensure compliance with governance requirements.
Build strong stakeholder relationships and support the delivery of strategic procurement programs.
About You
Proven experience in strategic sourcing,



procurement and contract management within NSW Government or a highly regulated environment.
Strong knowledge of NSW Government procurement frameworks, governance and compliance requirements.
Demonstrated experience managing complex tenders, commercial evaluations and contract negotiations.
Strong commercial and analytical skills with the ability to identify risks and opportunities.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Experience managing utility contracts, particularly electricity procurement and contract management, is highly regarded.
Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes in a complex stakeholder environment.
Benefits
$850 - $950 per day + super.
