ARAS is seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the role of Intake Worker in the aged care sector, part time 0.6FTE, working Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
The role
The Intake Worker is the key frontline person managing in-bound consumer and stakeholder contacts with ARAS via telephone, text and email The Intake Worker is required to gather all relevant information required for the triage of referrals, and works as part of a team providing information and assistance to consumers and/or their representatives to enable them to better understand and exercise their rights.

Specific employment requirements
A qualification or study in a humanitarian/ social justice discipline would be an advantage.
3-5 years experience in the aged care sector, with an understanding of contemporary issues faced by older persons accessing aged care services
National Police Clearance (less than 12 months old).
