successful candidate will lead a collaborative faculty spanning
Years 7–12 and work closely with colleagues across the School to
strengthen continuity, progression and excellence in Science

Reporting
to the Head of Senior School, the Head of Science provides
strategic and pedagogical leadership across the Science Faculty.
The role oversees curriculum development, assessment and faculty
operations, while supporting excellence in teaching and learning
from Years 7 to 12. Working collaboratively with Junior and Senior
School colleagues, the Head of Science helps ensure a cohesive and
connected approach to Science education, strengthening the




transition between year levels and supporting students' growth as
confident and capable learners.

using data, research and evidence to inform decision-making and

working collaboratively across Junior and Senior School to
create a connected Science journey for students
Outstanding
communication and relationship-building skills, with the
ability to engage effectively with students, families and
colleagues
Strong
organisational skills, sound judgement and the ability to
balance strategic priorities with day-to-day operational
responsibilities
