Position Details

Role: Prison Cleaner

Employment Type: Casual, with the opportunity to move into a permanent position based on performance

Location: Malmsbury Youth Justice Centre, VIC

Start Date: ASAP

Pay Rate: From $***** per hour plus penalties and superannuation

Roster: Monday to Sunday

Shift Times: 7:30 PM – 1:00 AM

What You'll Be Doing

Clean and sanitise offices, bathrooms, workshops, and communal areas

Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors, stairs, and surfaces

Complete occasional bio-cleaning tasks

Follow site procedures and safety requirements at all times

What You'll Bring

Ability to perform physically demanding tasks throughout your shift, including bending, kneeling, lifting, and standing for extended periods

A strong work ethic and attention to detail

Reliable transport and a current driver's licence

National Police Check

Employee Working with Children Check

Ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment and participate in random drug and alcohol testing
