About the Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Yardhand to join our team at our Edinburgh Park branch.
You will play an important role in ensuring the safe, productive, and organised operation of our yard and storage areas. This is a hands-on position that requires a proactive approach, the ability to work independently, and a strong commitment to safety.
Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Operating forklifts to safely move materials throughout the yard.
Loading and unloading trucks.
Organising and maintaining yard stock and storage areas.
Assisting with stores and inventory movements.
Receiving and checking incoming deliveries.
Preparing materials for production and dispatch.
Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe work environment.
General yard and warehouse duties as required.
About You
You will be a reliable, hardworking, and safety-conscious team player with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude. You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, can manage your workload effectively, and are equally comfortable working independently or as part of a team.
You will also bring the following:
A current Forklift Licence with demonstrated forklift operating experience.
Previous experience working in a stores or warehouse environment.




The ability to work unsupervised and use initiative.
Good organisational and time management skills.
The ability to work well with others and contribute to a positive team environment.
A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
Physical fitness to perform manual handling tasks and work outdoors when required.
Reliable transport and a strong work ethic.
The following skills and experience would be highly regarded:
Previous experience as a Yardhand or in a similar industrial environment.
Experience loading and unloading trucks.
Knowledge of safe material handling practices.
Experience with stock control or inventory systems.
You must have your own reliable transport and be available to work Monday to Friday.
