About the Roles
Working across mine sites in Queensland, you'll carry out planned maintenance, breakdown repairs, shutdown maintenance and major component change outs on a range of heavy mining equipment.
Depending on your trade and experience, you'll work on equipment including:
Draglines
Shovels
Excavators
Dozers
Haul Trucks
Loaders
Ancillary Heavy Mobile Equipment (HME)
Fixed Plant Equipment
Key Responsibilities
Planned preventative maintenance
Breakdown diagnosis and repairs
Shutdown maintenance
Fault finding and troubleshooting
Major component change-outs and rebuilds
Equipment inspections and servicing
Complete job reports and maintenance documentation
Work safely in accordance with site and company procedures
What You'll Need
Essential
Relevant Australian Trade Qualification
Experience maintaining heavy mining equipment
Robust mechanical or electrical fault finding skills
Current Driver Licence
Ability to work independently and within a team
Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
Highly Regarded
Shovel and/or Dragline maintenance experience
Heavy Mobile Equipment (HME) experience
Standard 11
Coal Board Medical
High Risk Work Licences
Mine site experience
