Pete & Son's Vehicle Transport is a well-established South Australian transport company specialising in the movement of recent and used vehicles. We pride ourselves on providing reliable service, maintaining high standards, and working as a close-knit team.
We're looking for a motivated and organised person who enjoys variety and is looking to build a long-term career in the transport industry. This is not a desk-only role—you'll spend time in the office as well as out in the yard working with brand-new vehicles, with the opportunity to progress into coordinating our daily transport operations.
You'll be joining a small, supportive team where everyone works together and takes pride in what they do. We value reliability, honesty and a positive attitude.
About the Role
No two days are the same. One day you'll be helping customers in the office, the next you'll be receiving brand-new vehicles, organising the yard or assisting with coordinating our drivers.
Your day will include a mix of administration and yard duties, including:
Office Responsibilities
Answering incoming phone calls.
Responding to customer emails.
Booking transport jobs into our system.
Updating and managing vehicle key records.
General administration and data entry.
Assisting customers, drivers and staff with enquiries.
Yard Responsibilities
Receiving brand-new vehicles into the yard.
Inspecting vehicles for any transport damage and accurately recording findings.




Parking vehicles in their designated locations.
Tagging and organising vehicle keys.
Maintaining an organised and efficient vehicle yard.
Assisting with general yard operations as required.
Working with some of Australia's newest passenger vehicles from leading manufacturers.
As you become familiar with the role, you'll also have the opportunity to assist with coordinating drivers, helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of our transport operations.

About You
We're looking for someone who:
Has excellent communication and customer service skills.
Is organised and has robust attention to detail.
Is confident using computers and learning new software.
Can work independently and as part of a team.
Enjoys being active and doesn't mind working outdoors.
Holds a current driver's licence.
Can confidently drive both manual and automatic vehicles (preferred).
Takes pride in their work and treats customers' vehicles with care and respect.
Has a positive attitude and is willing to learn.
Experience in administration, transport, logistics,



dealerships or vehicle handling will be highly regarded, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are just as important.
What We Offer
Full-time, stable employment.
$*****–$***** per hour
, depending on experience and suitability for the role, with overtime available when required.
Standard working hours of
Monday to Friday, 7:45 am – 3:45 pm
.
Very occasional Saturday work may be required.
No public holiday work.
Immediate start available.
