We're a
small, tight-knit workshop
based in Yatala looking to take on
a
1st year Boiler Maker Apprentice (Fabrication)
.
This isn't one of those big companies where you're just sweeping floors for 12 months. You'll be part of a team that
teaches you properly, backs you, and expects you to have a go
.
We're a positive crew — everyone works hard, has a laugh, and has their own hobbies outside of work (cars, bikes, farm life, etc.). We care about what we do and who we work with.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll be learning:
Boilermaker:
Fabrication and welding
Working with steel and structures
Cutting, shaping, and assembling materials
Working on new products as well as repairs and maintenance.
You'll be
hands-on from day one
— not just sweeping floors and cleaning.
What You'll Need
Completed
Year 10 (or higher)
Manual driver's licence (unrestricted)
Your own
reliable vehicle
Some
welding and/or
mechanical interest or experience
(even if it's working on your own car/bike/tractor)
Your own
basic hand tools
(spanners, pliers, Allen keys, hammers, punches etc. — approx. $250–$500)
Ability to
show genuine interest and basic understanding of mechanical work
