The Role:
We are seeking an eager and motivated Trade Assistant to join our Trailer Shed in Coffs Harbour on a full time basis.
This role is well suited to someone with a strong mechanical aptitude who enjoys a hands-on approach.

What You'll Do
:
This role is well suited to someone with a strong mechanical aptitude who enjoys a hands-on approach:
Assisting qualified tradespeople with mechanical repairs and panel work
Preparing vehicles, components,



and work areas for mechanical work
Using hand and power tools to support mechanical tasks
Preparing surfaces for fibreglassing (cleaning, sanding, masking)
Mixing resins and applying fibreglass materials under supervision
Trimming, sanding, and finishing fibreglass components to specification
Supporting repairs to vehicle bodies, panels, and structural components
What You'll Bring:
Prior experience working in a mechanical workshop environment
The ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
Have an eager and positive mindset
Clear and concise communication skills
Motivated, reliable and a good work ethic
Candidates must have valid and current Australian working rights to be considered for this position.
