About the Role
You will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a variety of heavy mobile plant and equipment across mining and civil operations. As part of a highly skilled team, you will play a vital role in ensuring equipment reliability, productivity, and safety for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct scheduled and unplanned maintenance on a range of heavy plant and equipment, including excavators, dozers, graders, trucks, and more
Diagnose and repair mechanical and hydraulic faults
Perform overhauls and rebuilds of major components
Complete maintenance documentation and service records




Work collaboratively with clients and your team to minimise downtime
Ensuring all work is carried out to the highest safety and quality standards
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Trade qualification and previous experience as a Mobile Plant Mechanic
Previous mine site inductions and mining industry experience is highly regarded
Current Driver's License
Current Order 45 Medical or willing to complete
Demonstrated expertise in diagnosing and repairing a wide range of heavy plant and equipment
Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics
Caterpillar, Liebherr, Hitachi, and Komatsu experience is highly regarded
In depth knowledge of Caterpillar SIS and ET are desirable
Commitment to safety, quality, communication, and teamwork
