Customer Experience Officer (Ref: ****)
About the position:
Our Customer Experience Team are the customer-facing representatives of the City of Greater Geraldton, taking ownership of each customer interaction to deliver a seamless and high-quality service experience. This opportunity is offered as a permanent part time position, working 30.4 hours per fortnight on Thursday & Friday (7.6 hour days).
Key accountabilities:
• Proactively engage with customers and maximise first contact resolution across a range of service channels including face-to-face, email, phone, web chat and socials.
• Promote awareness of the City's services and support customers to confidently access information and utilise self-service options where appropriate and desired.
• Efficiently and accurately undertake a range of transactional and administrative tasks in support of the City's processes and specialist teams.

Position requirements:
We are seeking applicants who thrive on communication and collaboration. Candidates should have experience working within a customer focused environment, knowledge or experience in office administration and financial transaction tasks, and a high level of computer literacy. Attention to detail, curiosity and a willingness to dive in and learn about the City's services will be highly regarded.
A National Police Certificate is required for the position. Completion of a pre-employment medical including alcohol and other substances testing is required of all positions at the City.
Remuneration and benefits:
The Customer Experience Officer position has a salary starting from $76,072 per annum pro rata.

iv. Demonstrated ability to exercise initiative, judgement and discretion and capable of working in an environment that requires confidentiality
