We are currently seeking a
Activities & Lifestyle Coordinator
to join our team.
Applicant will be required to be available to work shifts between Monday to Friday 09:00am -15:00pm.
Key Responsibilities:
Assists residents to maintain the optimum level of health and wellbeing following direction and guidance from the: Residential Care Manager, Registered Nurses & Physiotherapist.
Implement group and individual Activities & Lifestyle programs under the direction of the Quality and Lifestyle Manager and Residential care Manager. Reports on & documents residents' response to therapy.
Encourage and enable residents to participate in a variety of social experiences.
Respect the rights of each resident to make informed choices about their participation in activities.
Ensure that the privacy, respect and dignity of all residents is upheld.
Assist in ensuring that the environment is safe for staff and residents and is as home-like for residents as possible.
Is able to contribute to the development of individual care plans in consultation with the residents, relatives and other support staff.




Identify and report potential or actual hazards to the Residential Care Manager.
Essential Requirements:
Qualification in Certificate IV in Leisure and Health or equivalent will be highly regarded.
Previous experience in Physio Therapy Assistance highly desirable, although not essential.
Enthusiastic, dynamic, proactive and takes initiative.
Organise meaningful and person-centred activities for varying level of abilities.
Must be able to communicate with external stakeholders to organise events
Must be computer literate.
Experience working in a similar role in an Aged Care Facility will be highly regarded.
Demonstrates genuine desire to care for frail aged people.
Able to effectively communicate in written and oral English.
Current Flu and Covid vaccination record.
Current Police Clearance or willing to obtain one.
