Are you looking for a broad-based hands-on role in a medium-sized engineering business, where you can make a difference?
We are seeking candidates with a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in purchasing and inventory roles.
We are based South of the River in the Bibra Lake area. Workforce of twenty skilled Trades, Engineers and Support staff. This role will not suit a FIFO worker.
You will have authority to make all the decisions relating to purchasing, scheduling, storing, issuing and the quality of the various inputs, which are mainly: mechanical/electrical/electronic componentry.
This is a hybrid position encompassing all facets of the Supply role. You will be solely responsible for:
Purchasing,



who is the best Supplier and what is their price? Mostly repeat orders.
Stores Management, receipting, stock location, stock picking and issuing to Work Centres.
Production Control, sequence of raising Job Orders and issuing material.
Computer literacy, including Office suite, ERP systems, Inventory systems.
A Forklift licence would be of benefit.
Outstanding memory for part numbers.
Energetic team player.
