Equipment Product Specialist
to join our dynamic team servicing
Cairns region

About The Role
As part of our
Light Rehab / Home and Community Care Team
, you will play a vital role in helping clients achieve greater independence and improved quality of life. Drawing on your product expertise and people skills, you will provide tailored equipment solutions to deliver the best clinical outcomes while building and maintaining strong partnerships with allied health professionals, clients and carers.
Your Responsibilities
Selling Assistive Technology equipment to a wide range of clients in the community.
Conducting informative equipment trials on our broad range of Assistive Technology products.




Building and maintaining strong relationships with allied health professionals and clients through exceptional customer service and product expertise.
Creating new business opportunities by delivering clinical education sessions and product in-service events for both new and existing referrers.
Achieve and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators to drive growth and business success.
Required Skills
Background in
sales or customer-facing roles
preferred, with confidence in conducting product trials and business development activities.
Occupational Therapist (or other relevant allied health professional) with relevant Disability or Rehabilitation experience (would be an advantage but not essential).
Demonstrated success in
building and maintaining strong customer relationships
.
Experience in the
Aged Care and/or Disability sector
is highly desirable, with a genuine passion for improving client outcomes.
Ability to provide
education and support health professionals, clients, and their families
, ensuring transparent understanding of equipment advantages and applications.
Empathetic and client-focused
approach.
Outstanding communication skills
, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage diverse audiences and build trusted relationships.
Strong organisational and time management
skills.
Proven ability to
meet KPIs and drive positive outcomes
Physically capable and
comfortable with manual handling




to move and transport equipment for trials and demonstrations.
Flexibility and willingness
to travel within your designated territory
.
Licences and Compliance Checks
A full Australian driver's license
National Police Check
Working with Children check
NDIS Worker Screening Check
Australian citizenship or Australian permanent residency
Vaccinations (flu and covid 19 including booster or medical exemption)
