Department Manager

The Opportunity
As a Department Manager, you'll be responsible for leading, coaching and developing your team while delivering exceptional commercial results.
You'll create an engaging store environment, drive sales performance and ensure your department consistently delivers outstanding customer experiences.
Your leadership will play a key role in building a positive culture where team members feel supported, motivated and empowered to succeed.
Key Responsibilities
Lead,



coach and develop a high-performing team
Drive sales, productivity and department profitability
Analyse performance data and identify commercial opportunities
Manage rostering, workforce planning and daily operations
Maintain exceptional visual merchandising and presentation standards
Recruit, onboard and develop future retail leaders
Create a customer-focused culture that delivers outstanding service
Monitor market trends and competitor activity to maximise results
About You
You are a confident and inclusive leader who enjoys bringing out the best in others.
You'll bring:
Previous retail leadership experience within a busy environment
Strong people leadership and coaching capability
Experience managing KPIs, sales targets and operational performance
Commercial acumen and confidence working with reports and data
A passion for customer experience and team development
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
An interest in fashion, trends and creating inspiring shopping experiences
