Permanent Full Time Located in Armadale
$71,500 – $84,100 + 3.5% Adverse Working Conditions Allowance + up to 15% superannuation
Fixed-Roster, 9-day fortnight (enjoy every second Friday off!)

At the City of Armadale, you'll lead a small crew delivering tree maintenance across our streetscapes and public spaces. From pruning and planting through to mentoring team members and coordinating daily work, no two days are the same.

About the role
As Leading Hand Arborist, you'll coordinate daily operations, support your crew and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Working closely with the Supervisor Streetscapes, you'll organise daily workloads, guide team members, monitor quality and help deliver a professional tree maintenance service across the City.
You'll spend time both on the tools and leading your team - making decisions, solving problems and ensuring every job is completed safely and efficiently.
What you'll be doing
Lead and support a skilled arborist team in the field.
Coordinate daily work programs and allocate resources.
Carry out tree pruning, maintenance and planting activities.
Coach and mentor team members to build capability.
Ensure work is completed safely and to a high standard.
Use digital systems to manage work orders and record completed works.
Promote a positive safety culture and continuous improvement.
