Job DetailsThis will be a 12-month contract for a parental leave coverNo relocation assistance is offered for this positionCoverage of perks for contractual positions may change or varyWe're seeking a passionate and dynamic Brand Manager to join our Marketing team in creating and fostering consumer demand for the LEGO Group by converting consumer, shopper and market insights into compelling, creative, and innovative marketing initiatives!
Reporting to the Brand Director, you will play a central role in the marketing team as product expert for your portfolio and be accountable for driving performance aligned with key success metrics.Core ResponsibilitiesBrand Management (60%)Be the product and audience expert for an assigned portfolioDevelop and implement innovative marketing plans, grounded in insights that drive brand equity and build active consumersYou will have a "one team" attitude collaborating with a variety of functions across Marketing, Sales, Operations and Business Intelligence, to ensure alignment with audience strategies and achievement of objectivesReview competitors' activity and changing market needs in order to facilitate adjustments to audience strategies when neededFeed into pricing and lead assortment for the assigned portfolioBe an active member of the Global Brand Marketing Network for respective themes and audiencesDevelop and implement media strategies (both traditional and digital), working closely with agenciesLead commercial partner relationships aligned with the portfolio and audience responsibilities of this roleInput into the BU strategy development,
objective setting process and consumer communications planningPrepare for and present theme assortment and supporting marketing activities at key selling‐in and collaboration meetings throughout the yearBusiness Management (40%)Lead consumer sales recommendations for your audience portfolio; which includes monthly forecasting and active participation in the S&OP; planning processWeekly analysis and evaluation of theme and product performance.
Work collaboratively across all functions to identify and implement short term tactics to improve performance as requiredHave a continual improvement mentality; achieved through commercial performance review and analysis, campaign after action reviews, global case studies and performance benchmarksPlan and run budgets related to multiple brands and marketing campaignsPlay your part in our team SucceedingThis role is part of the ANZ Marketing Organization and reports into the Brand Director.
Brand is a function of the overall marketing team, which includes Digital Marketing, Trade Marketing, Brand Relations and Marketing Planning, all reporting into the Senior Director, Head of Marketing.Do you have what it takes?
In-depth consumer goods experience with a track record in brand or product managementHigh level of marketing understanding and commercial competenceExperience driving brand growth and health metricsExcellent communication and presentation skillsStrong analytical skills with a proficiency in using data to drive business resultsPositive and effective team‐player, with experience working cross‐functionally to bring plans to lifeTime management skills with the ability to prioritizeCurious about learning, with a growth mentalityPassionate about the brand!
