We are currently looking for Senior Mobile Communications Technician to join our team within our Telecommunications division.The role: This role requires you to be adaptable, flexible and proactive.Key responsibilitiesInstall fixed & wireless network equipment & setup new telecommunications servicesMentor other mobile communication techniciansEnsure that equipment & circuit installations are of high qualityPlace or terminate cables, including those made of optical fibreInstall & maintain telecommunication & other data systemsInstall, test & maintain all types of telecommunications, switching & transmission equipmentProactively plan, track, coordinate & run assigned project tasksSet up computer hardware & install & customise software applications used in mobile telecommunicationsAnalyse system faults with a high degree of diagnostic skillThe successful candidate will need to meet the following requirements to be shortlisted:RequirementsMust have experience working on Telstra, 4G/5G /LTE RBS/BTS Equipment as well as Microwave radiosAble to go by clients specifications,



standards and HSE guidelinesExcellent communications skillsCan work efficiently both by yourself and as part of a teamHave good work ethicsProvide quality installation following applicable standards and be competent in troubleshootingAble to read and interpret clearly technical design documents, and implement/install equipment as per design, and propose changes for effective project deliveryHave experience working with Ericsson equipmentAble to technically assist riggers on-siteAble to use PIM tester and spectrum analyser (or site master) respectively for PIM testing & feeder sweepLiaise with NOC team to transparent alarms such as VSWR, RTWP etcMinimum 10 years experience in the industryAppropriately skilled with MS applications including excel and wordBe available to work full-time Monday to Friday (including overtime and weekends as required)Must be willing to work away from home (as required) as work is spread out all over NSW or do shift work ie night work ( if required )Required tickets/licencesAustralian driver's licenceWhite cardTelstra, Optus and Vodafone safety inductionsRADHAZ AwarenessWorking At HeightFirst Aid & CPR Training will be provided to the right applicant
