Job DescriptionEstimating Manager | Demolition, Decommissioning & RemediationLead a national estimating team | $200,000 - $215,000 + Super | Perth, Brisbane or SydneyAn opportunity has arisen for an experienced Estimating Manager to join a leading specialist contractor delivering complex demolition, decommissioning and remediation projects across Australia.Reporting into the executive leadership team, you'll lead a national estimating function, managing a team of six estimators across Perth, Brisbane and Sydney while remaining hands‐on in the preparation of major tenders.
This is a genuine leadership role for someone who enjoys developing people, driving tender strategy and playing a key role in securing major projects.The business delivers projects for some of Australia's largest resource companies, industrial operators and government clients, with tenders typically ranging from $10M-$60M.The RoleLead, mentor and develop a national team of six estimators across three offices.Prepare, review and submit competitive tenders valued between $10M-$60M.Remain hands‐on with first principles estimating and tender preparation.Review estimates prepared by team members and provide technical and commercial guidance.Prioritise tender opportunities to ensure resources are focused on the most commercially viable projects.Develop pricing strategies and identify commercial risks throughout the bid process.Collaborate closely with operations,
